bobs-machine-hydraulic-kick-back-jack-plate
Bob's Machine Hydraulic Action Series Kick-Back Jack Plate

The Bob's Machine Hydraulic Action Series Kick-Back Jack Plate lets you raise your outboard from the helm to run and idle through skinny water, and it helps protect your lower unit if you do hit something. If the motor strikes a submerged object while moving forward, the patented Kick-Back design lets it pivot up and over, then settle back into place, with no chains or springs.

Choose a 4" or 6" setback. Both give 7.5" of total lift (6" of hydraulic stroke plus 1.5" built into the structure) for outboards up to 150 HP with the standard BIA bolt pattern. Delrin rollers, bushings and bearings keep it moving smoothly, greaseable pivots make maintenance easy, and locking pins hold the plate in place in reverse and on the trailer. Available in Silver or gloss Black Powder Coat to match your outboard.

Important: Do not encounter obstructions at speeds over 5 MPH, and only in forward. The Kick-Back is not designed to take impacts in reverse.
