How much cooler will it feel?
Mist Cooling rates its high-pressure systems to lower the surrounding air temperature by up to 30°F. Results depend on your climate: misting works best in dry heat and is less effective when humidity is already high.
Will the mist get everything wet?
At 1500 PSI the nozzles produce an ultrafine mist that is designed to evaporate in the air before it settles, which is the main advantage of high-pressure misting over low-pressure garden-hose kits. Placement, wind and humidity all affect this, so aim the fans into open air rather than directly at furniture.
Are fans included?
No. This kit adds misting to fans you already own. Each center hub attaches magnetically to the front of a fan; order one hub per fan.
How far apart should the fans be, and how far can the pump be?
Space fans about 20 to 25 feet apart. The pump can sit up to 150 feet from the first nozzle, and you can run one continuous line from fan to fan using tees.
What power does it need?
The pump plugs into a standard 110V outlet. Use room-temperature or cold water only.
What does the smartphone controller do?
The optional Wi-Fi controller lets you turn the system on and off and set schedules from your phone. It needs a strong Wi-Fi signal at the pump location.
Can I add more hubs later?
Yes. The system is expandable: extra hubs tee into the same high-pressure line. Ask us before going beyond the counts offered here so we can confirm the pump can support them.
