A bigger displacement moves more fluid per turn, so you get fewer turns lock-to-lock (quicker steering) with a heavier feel. The 2.4 gives the quickest steering of the three. Tell us your cylinder and we'll help you match it.
Will it replace my older SeaStar helm?
Yes. The Gen 4 (-4) helm is fully compatible with existing SeaStar hydraulic steering systems.
My dash has an old 4.5" SeaStar hole. Will it fit?
Yes, with SeaStar adapter HA5418. New installs only need a 3" hole.
Does it include a cylinder or hoses?
No. This is the helm only. You'll need a SeaStar cylinder, hoses and SeaStar steering fluid.
